cduniverse has a listing for other bands that have tributes by this label and it doesn't look too impressive. No artists listed at all.
So yeah, it's probably poop.
I'm serious. This will be nothing worth buying or even checking out. I heard the 311 tribute album because my friend saw it and he likes 311. It was all high school garage bands on it. Terrible.
Take it.

I always thought that Yanki stood for Yankee (as in the baseball team) which was used for people who were American in the 1930/40's who were rich or something?
It was used to categorize Americans from other Nations in particular. Ville Valo calls certain American Wankers, an i have heard people use also Red Necks, Hicks (which i thought were the same but i dont know). An than there is one more but i cant remember what else they nickname Americans though.

Odin makes me wonder how much fun it is to be around here when you are feeling down to be honest.

I still dont know who are the bands that are going to be in it so i will wait first before i purchase this..
Album.

EDIT: Does anyone anything about This?

Stone Temple Pilots not broken up  curlio

  2003-06-19 04:04:45  Yahoo News

Stone Temple Pilots singer Scott Weiland might be a part of a new band, but that doesn't mean that the old band is gone.

Weiland tells Rolling Stone Stone Temple Pilots has never broken up, but they did decide to take time apart and do other things. Dean and Robert DeLeo are producing, and Eric Kretz just built a studio. Weiland says "there's always hope" for another full-length Stone Temple Pilots album.

Velvet Revolver is also busy, as they have a song on the soundtrack for "The Hulk."

I'm glad that the door isn't closed on Stone Temple Pilots, as they're a good group. However I imagine the future of Stone Temple Pilots is connected to the success or failure of Velvet Revolver

its not over yet,i hope .there is hope

When that Reunion happens is when The Doors get back together as a full band...
Or when Heroes Del Silencio return as a band.
hahaha.

You had my hopes up before I noticed that article is a bit old.
It's well before Rob and Dean said Stone Temple Pilots was no more.

According to a post on photographer Ross Halfin's site, Robert and Dean have approached ex-Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman to fill the drummer spot in an upcoming 'supergroup' with Chris Robinson (ex-Black Crowes) on vocals. Rumours of the DeLeo Bros working with Robinson surfaced on the official BBS a few weeks ago, and were semi-officially confirmed by Robert DeLeo when talking to fan. No official statements or appearances have been made, and none of the rumoured band members have even spoken out about this project.

...that's taken right from Rik's site (belowempty.com).   :)
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!
