Alice in Chains should do a STP tribute. Would be better if it was with Staley, but DuVall would do I suppose.

Tribute Album

Ok, so I was just looking at STP's wikipedia article and I noticed that someone added a whole new section about a new STP tribute album that's supposed to come out in the spring. I hadn't heard anything about this tribute album before, so I did a little research and found this article, which came out last April announcing the tribute album. So this may be old news to some...but does anyone know what "name hard rock and alt rock/grunge-era artists" will be playing on this CD or any other info about it?

Joking aside. I'm thinking that Staind, Linkin Park, and Disturbed would be on it if asked. They are big STP fans.

Or maybe, if we're lucky, they might get some half-decent bands to be on it.

If we're lucky Talk Show, Velvet Revolver and Army of Anyone will be on it. I'm crossing my fingers for covers of "Dirty Dog" and "Old Dixie".

I searched and found that label's website and there isn't any info on an STP tribute disc (there are a bunch of other crap they've released).

And horrible doesn't being to describe the site. Looks like it was made in 1994.
Very slow, ugly and amateurish.

I actually emailed them asking if my dad's band would be able to participate, but theres no slots left. They asked him to do a Nikki Sixx and Alice in Chains tribute.

FUCK!  I'D KILL TO DO THAT!
