i haven't heard the entire tribute album, but i did manage to hear some of the songs of it and i didn't like it.  i did, however, like the cover of 'Big Bang Baby' done by Emma G.  it was so different from the original, more like a piano ballad.  she obeyed the Cover's rule, "when you cover a song, do it better or do it differently."

I don't know much about that album, but recently I downloaded a couple of songs from it and the Adhesive cover was 'BLOODY AWESOME'.  I'm not a Tiny music worshipper like many either but this version was very emotive.

I have yet to hear a halfway decent tribute album for any band, and I'm sure this one is no different, although I'm still interested to here it.  Please upload some (or all...) tracks. :)

Maybe I'm missing something, but where's everyone listening to their audio?

I went to the site in the first post, but their audio link status is "coming soon".

WHat the .. started out interesting enough and it sounded like it was going to be a good cover, but its just went downhill quick, the vocals and the music werent in sync at all and made it difficult to listen .

Yeah, I figured. I usually scoff at tribute bands.

Curiousity got me, though.

I don't know if I would ever be in a tribute band. It's hard b/c it's like you're putting all your eggs in one basket. My old group wouldn't even play any covers. They are totally against it... But then again they were stupid and we had a drummer who acted like the typical frontman: super ego and controlling. Aside from them being stupid, a cover here and there isn't a terrible thing. Gets the crowd more into it.

But I would play Adhesive acousticly if I had the chance and both Crackerman and STTP don't play it, booo!

But apparently they do play some rare stuff: Crackerman plays Church on Tuesday and All In the Suit, that's kinda cool. STTP plays Art School Girl, Ride the Cliche, and MC5, and they both play Dumb Love.

I think one of the guys from that shitty cover band tried to promote them at this forum before.  They suck.  Eew.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!
