Yeah thats kindave interesting. Under the bands bio it doesn't mention STP as an influence at all.

No, it's not me playing bass in the band. I'm making the website for these guys. They're indeed an STP cover band. Hopefully I'll get some audio soon to be posted.

I saw the best new stp tribute band last month in Vancouver.  They are called "STTP"!!
I think it stands for "Stone Temple Tribute Project."  They kicked some serious ass!!
The band looked like STP and the singer's voice sounds just like Scotts voice.
I could not believe my ears and eyes.   I tracked down their website.

Wow i checked out the audio and it didnt seem that good at all. I will definatly give it to them that some of them look the part, even though thats sad pretending to be someone else but otherwise vocals werent special. I suggest if you wanna see someone cover STP really good, see velvet revolver live, they do sex type thing and crackerman excellent. haha

The vocals are pretty crappy. I think I would like him better if he didn't try so hard to sound like Scott. He tries to hard to be perfect, and it doesn't have to be. The rest of the band sounds pretty good. I'd see them if they came by me.
