I'm not bitching about what Scott's attire revealed during the VR days; it just didn't seem to be him.  Kinda like a fish out of water.

I was crushed when he retired the feather boas & fedoras.

I totally agree with ya, D.  I certainly didn't mind all the tight-fitting pants and the skimpy shirts... but it just wasn't the same.  The boa is where it's at.

So I was ordering some shirts online and came across this "new" Scott Weiland shirt with the phrase "i Hate it Here" on it.  Maybe I've been awake too long and I'm not thinking straight, but I don't get it...  what does it mean?

I thought it may be lyrics from one of his new songs, but haven't read thru the whole booklet yet to confirm or deny...

Maybe it has to do with how Scott feels about his life. Not in a "I'm suicidal" way, but maybe he just hates the pain and suffering that occurs during ones lifetime.


Like I said in the other thread, for me it describes exactly how I feel about the place I live, AND it's got my favorite artist.

what is that about?

im not sure the actual meaning of the shirt but when Velvet Revolver played the Hammerstein in New York on New Years Eve in 2008 he wore a shirt similar to that one. On the front it said "I hate it here" then on the back it said "i am scott".

there is a band called "Wilco" they have a song called " i hate it here" probably no relation at all but thougt id post about it the song aint that bad. i dont know how to hyper link otherwise i would,  i checked out their myspace video of the song and again not bad. maybe scott likes this song, possibly reminds him of his life after the divorce from mary.
