I don't know that they shared a cell - but they were definately at the same jail when Scott did his year.  I L-O-V-E RDJ.  No joke, Cubs, what they may have done if they ever, say... passed each other in the shower in prison... has been a fantasy of mine since forever.  Holy hotttttness.

You have to put the URL of the photo you are trying to post between the first img and the second /img.   Gotta be a photo that's already online.  You can't upload images to the board.

Quentin's overrated these days... Don't get me wrong, I love his first few films, but I think his ego has surpassed his skill and as a result left him regurgitating what once was cutting edge film-making.

But you do make a good point, if anybody should play S.Weiland it should be S.Weiland..with the right direction he could probably pull it off.

I know some film students have complained that he basically stole ideas from more obscure movie makers and made it his own. Every director will have critics, and some people (ESPECIALLY film students) are too finicky and dillusional for their own good. I think he's a good storyteller, but he gets carried away with the dialogue. Sometimes it works (The diner scene in Reservoir Dogs) and sometimes it's overkill. (Majority of Death Proof)

To me, Pulp Fiction was his greatest piece of work. Jackie Brown is underrated. Reservoir Dogs is overrated. Kill Bill is very entertaining. The last 25 minutes of Death Proof made up for the slow dialogue that preceded it.

I still have never seen True Romance. I heard that was very good.

Agreed loungefly-... I was psyched for Kurt Russel in Death Proof, and he was good in it, but that movie sucked. I love those genre films too, I just can't get behind it, was utterly disappointed. Also, do yourself a favor and see True Romance ASAP. Tony Scott directs Quentin's Script and it's pure action/drama bliss.
