This thread is amazing! haha :)

A very young Clint Eastwood could play Scott but not on the early days. I mean, i cant picture a "chubby" Clint Eastwood.
Guy Pearce is not a bad option for the whole movie. But for the early days, John Cusack is the best

Why no one has suggested Robert Downing Jr. for Scott is beyond me,  but consider that my vote.

I was thinking maybe Willem Dafoe as Dean.   I would go with Robert Downey Jr. as Rob, and I think Vince Vaughn with a blonde wig could be Eric.  I'm not sure about Scott, but I think Laura got it right with Johnny Depp.

Dean - maybe Depp or Ashton Kutcher or the guy who played Vader in the star wars prequels.

Eric - that blond headed dude that always pops up in sitcoms and movies. He starred in the dumb and dumber sequel.................Eric Christian Olsen (thanks wikipedia). For being in so many things over the years, this guy is pretty forgettable haha


It's hard to pick actors based on age because STP has been around for so many years. But I think with the right makeup, these guys could work.
