I Know It's Too Late 320 kbps

Hi there


Finally got the itunes bonus track through the only CD source there is - a compilation CD from 2009 that came with a magazine "Rock Sound" VA - soundcheck 118 - found the whole album through the internet on some russian downloadpage... anyways for the first time 320 kpbs version of the track! It sounds awesome!


Hit me up if you want a copy of the track!

I had never heard this song and just found it on YouTube. I don't know why it didn't make the record, it sounds better than half of the tracks that did.

Agree! Hard to understand way it became the secret bonustrack... a really strong song!


Hope the estate will think of this track when - someday - the Happy In Galoshes album will be released on vinyl - and the soundtrack song "Breath" - which was recorded during the sessions (but only released 3 years later on The Avengers Soundtrack) and "Happy" (the 2006 recording with Pharrell should be on there too) which was never released.


With those three songs as bonus tracks the double album would be so much stronger!

You can also add his cover of Waiting for Superman which was recorded in 2002 and is considered part of the 'Happy' sessions.  I would love a 'deluxe' edition someday that includes all these orphan tracks along with the couple of unreleased songs from this time period.  Speaking of this album, has anyone noticed it's no longer available digitally on iTunes, amazon, spotify, etc.......not sure why

There is still a 12 track version of "Happy" available on itunes. But yeah the 2 disc version is gone. There probably is no manager to oversee the musical side of the estate and so these things happen - Scott wasn't in a good place the last years of his life.... so maybe the family has their trouble finding out about the ins and outs of copyrights and music business related things.


There should be the cover album, the ext. Happy album and they should get the unreleased stuff out there... Maybe a live album or two from the different solo tours - assuming they recorded some gigs? They should get Doug Grean to sort it out he was at studio for years he should know which hard drive contains what.

You can still pick up sealed two disc copies of HIG from eBay for like 5 bucks...

I agree the 2 disc version is easy to find.  I guess I was just curious as to why the one disc version was pulled from iTunes, Amazon, spotify, etc.

njet could be right in that it could have something to do with rights management of the estate at the moment. iTunes are living sales whereas selling CDs, sealed or not can happen forever.  Hence another argument for the existence of physical media.
