I've got it anyway, and listened to it at the correct speed thanks to the pitch control on my turntable. All in all it's a pretty good release, strong performances, Jeff sounds excellent.

Just a shame it's only two tracks from the new LP.

My LRS couldn't get this and I bought one off eBay. What's funny is that I just thought that Gutt was singing everything a bit slower so as to dutifully hit the notes LMAO!
I emailed Rhino, but given that I bought a copy off of the bay, I don't have high hopes of landing a corrected copy.

Yeah, I'm not making a judgment on it, just saying, from Rik's POV it is official material, 4% slower or not.

He avoids publishing officially released material, because although record companies will stand for live bootlegs these days they wouldn't stand for the STP fan site posting a record they put out commercially. Quickest way to get your ass shut down.

I'm very curious to see if Rhino gets back to me regarding my copy. I haven't heard anything from them yet.

I asjed the Ebay shop I bought it off, they said they sourced it from Warner Music UK, and they will try and get me a fixed copy.

I'll let you know if I ever get it.

It was a record store day release, so I would think it is highly unlikely to be repressed in any other format.

They are still manufacturing them. My guess is that we won't see them until March, or at least closer to then.
