Yay, got a shipment notification from UPS for my CD and tee. Don't suppose they will arrive early but you never know, Blaster did. Sitting in a whiteout, driving snow everywhere, good vibes definitely help.

You in the UK? The snow has been terrible hasn’t it! If they’ve shipped your order now, even from the US, I’d expect you to at least get it a few days early?
I’m thinking the whole album will leak in the next week with reviewers having advance copies. I’m still holding out for somehow getting the physical Best Buy CD with the bonus tracks shipped here. I’m a completist and I still like to have a hard copy of all my albums.

Yeah, Central Scotland. 20 odd miles from Celtic Park where my boy has a season ticket. No shipment yet but I'll be getting the Best Buy edition too. Really excited for this album.

I would love to go to Scotland.  In my stupid, American brain Scotland is Trainspotting being relived every day of the week and I want in.

What I like about Scotland is that they mainly speak English (aside from Gaelic), and I can't understand a damn thing they are saying.  I tried watching the comedies Still Game and Chewin' The Fat WITH SUBTITLES and I still couldn't understand some of the stuff coming out of their mouths  ;D

Scotland. Don't come for the beautiful scenery and historic culture, come for the heroin and bar fights.

Yeah, pure Glasgow that. For such a small country, the variety of accents is interesting. Northerners I can't get at all.

Ken Andrews is mixing the new album.  He also mixed Army of Anyone.  Here's an article where he discusses it.  Released back in January, but I don't remember anyone posting it:  https://sonicscoop.com/2018/01/08/ken-andrews-from-failure-to-mixing-stone-temple-pilots-upcoming-album/

I've already planned to use a vacation day so I can stay home and enjoy the new record on March 16.

Posted this back in Jan, to the general STP board.

Solid Read!

I'm not sure why but on the Canadian Amazon it was priced at $14 and just recently check jumped to $21.  That's crazy

'Middle of Nowhere' is VR's Suckertrain Blues little brother. Holy cow. Some of you's are gonna really dig.

A little cheesy but sounds good. Better than anything on the High Rise EP.
Take it.

This is one of the many posters we have on this board that likes to claim they have inside info on the band isn't it?

Yup, a reasonable post would have been something like...

"Hey guys, was lucky to hear the song early, it sounds really good. Wish I could share"...

Instead, that.

Vaporized is the same guy who said confidently that Pete Murray was going to be the next STP singer.  Vaporized also said this in regards to the new singer before it was revealed:
"I can confirm that it's neither Gutt or Borja"

Take anything he says with a grain of salt.
