I'm sorry but it is so bad! Vocals, melody and lyrics are generic and just ...bad. Had to vent, I'm so frustrated. "dancing in the meadow" really. Uhh..instrumentation is top notch, but I can't even hear the song all the way thru. Hope the album is good.

How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

I don't care for it. It's too safe and generic for an STP song. The chorus is a little catchy and Gutt does have a good voice, but I would hope the album would have more to offer.

You know when I heard Gutt sing Down, Coma and PoP last night, he sounded like a mix of Scott and Chester. Now after hearing this single, he sounds a little like Dave Coutts. That's kinda impressive, to be able to pull all those elements together.

To be honest, his voice sounds like Scott's, but instrumentally it doesn't remind me of STP at all.

I definitely hear Dave Coutts and Chester before I hear Scott. Great imitator in a live setting, but the voice, melody, and lyrics sound like 1997....

If you see my facebook I even mentioned that STP is in good hands. It is just normal to see all the accollades during the honeymoon stage; just saying. I listened to meadow while driving and the drumlines pumped me on the accelerator.

Probably why he got the job, when it comes down to it. A capable singer in his own right, who can do a good job of sounding like the many shades of STP.
