The front page of STP's website shows this as the middle piece of a nine piece puzzle. I would imagine it is the album cover.

It also looks like the release will probably be through Rhino/WMG (who released the Core reissue), as the URL for the image is on the Rhino records website.

I'm guessing the puzzle is actually going to be the single artwork, but either way, it's definitely inspired by that.
