Pete Murray lives in Encinitas which is closer to San Diego, probably a 2 hour 40 minute-3 hour drive, but White Noise Owl did record in LA which matches up with Vaporized's story, but that doesn't necessarily mean he got the gig even if he did play with them.

Gutt has been posting LA pictures for several months but nothing about music projects.


Pete could stay somewhere in LA though when rehearsing if he got the gig.

Before Pete Murray's name arose, people who did not like Borja said they like Gutt. But now that Gutt is giving hints to being the new singer, all of a sudden people are saying they wish they chose Pete.


However I can say that many people (who are not in this forum) who like Borja still like Borja for the job, despite him being denied as the singer.

Also forgot to mention, Will Hunt the Drummer of White noise Owl is also the drummer in Evanescence who are on a large world tour at the moment and will be for a while so I dont see the WNO album coming out soon.

Pete is an awesome singer and has a lot of range, but I would humbly disagree he shits over Borja. The language holds John back but the guy sings anything from soft ballads to straightforward metal like Pantera. Borja is more of a baritone while Pete is a tenor. Borja can comfortably sing stuff like Stone Sour, Dishwalla and Live (the band) while Pete somehow reminds me of Maynard James Keenan on cleans and Chino Moreno on the heavy stuff.

Judging from Gutt's recent IG posts I think it could be him as well. Lots of LA posts, but nothing about any musical projects.

where do the guys reside and write music? LA?

Robert lives in Palos Verdes which is close to LA. I believe Eric lives in the LA area. I think Dean lives a bit further north of LA.
