I was never a huge fan of STP+Chester. Wasn't much of a fan of Linkin Park, either. But I can't deny the power of Chester's voice. A voice that has now been silenced forever.

When this song came out, the core LP fans rejected the poppish electronic sound to it.  They failed to look at the beauty of the lyrics.  Little did everyone know the seriousness in the words.

I know this is the STP forum but "Heavy" is prolly a lot heavier to listen to now.

I guess it's true, everyone will definitely view all songs in a different light, seems  it's the natural thing that happens after an artist leaves the world on their own terms...

I just feel for everyone really into Chester and Chris specifically... the message these two are giving with hanging them self has me worried with both happening so close together. I just hope it doesn't give anyone confirmation that it "could" be a way to solve the hard time they might be feeling and going through. Just a random thought regarding how many people adore both of them as artist..:

With this going on, this leads to the question of whether STP will ever perform again. Allegedly, they have two finalists for their new frontman. If they are regrouping, clearly they've been rehearsing and working on an album, and want to go out with something to promote, rather than how things unfolded with Chester. But if that isn't so, is it time for Dean, Robert and Eric to simply admit defeat and fold?
