so lounge fly was recorded at PP. is there any connection between the title of the record (purple) and the purple one himself?

Lol. You said PP.

911 Transcript

https://www.scribd.com/mobile/doc/310022349/Prince-911-Call-Transcript?skip_app_promo=true

One of the gross, terrible things about the internet is that we can all read and/or listen to this sort of thing with ease. A 911 call should be a private, confidential thing. Not something everybody should be able to basically listen in on....

Reading about how the tour manager and Joey C. were the first on scene when Scott was found and the desperation during the 911 call when he was unresponsive and cold, and stiff.... That sort of shit isn't helping anybody out. It's a kind of gruesome, desensitizing shit that makes the internet as horrible of a place as it is.

Prince's death Andrew is a hard pill to swallow for me. It really is sad because i actually worked with 2 of his main drummers.

I have never been a huge fan of Prince, but I understand and respect the impact he had as a musician. And it's always a bummer to lose such a huge talent at a younger age.

It's proof of morality and that's something nobody wants to have to come to terms with. Losing Scott, Glenn Frey, David Bowie, Lemmy, now Prince, all within less than 6 months of each other.... dang.

We're just lucky they left the mark on music that they did while they could. And that we were alive at the same time they were....

Another musician bites the bullet, I'm almost not surprised when hearing these things anymore.

Wasnt really of fan of his music but respect for his talents and his guitar playing ability

Didn't realize there was a Prince connection w/ STP during their second album that was named Purple.  Is it possible they named their album Purple as a reference to Prince?

That would be the coolest thing ever.

Posted my video of Prince and The Revolution Live Syracuse March 30th 1985. YouTube tried twice to block it, third time was the charm.

My pleasure. Prince kind of made it difficult to share any clips over the years, but I am certain the man would be happy to know folks like us are remembering him this way.

Thanks for posting the link!  I was at the Carrier Dome show in '85.  Amazing night - especially for a 15-year-old upstate NY metal head! ✌🏻️

Oh man!! That must have been the buzz. I have seen some individual song clips from this show posted on the off the beat site here and there, but not the full show. Glad I still had it on DVD to convert and post. I was up until 2:30AM getting it converted, fighting with YouTube and uploaded. Enjoy the memory and great music my friend!

the guy's live shows were just ridiculous. the first time i saw him the concert didn't sell at all, i'd say the arena was 1/3rd full at best. a lesser artist would have played an abbreviated set, he did 3 hours and 20 minutes.

Well... Youtube blocked me again. That's enough for me. I deleted my entire channel and wont be visiting that site again. It's low quality shitfest anyway.
