Anyone else catch Plush during the Apolo Ohno clips during the semi-final?

Just heard "Unglued" on the highlight reel. I love how I am seeing more and more of STP in my everyday life.

stp is getting played a lot on ESPN, old and new stuff. wanted to see if any espn watchers out there would list the songs you hear.

1.) 'Stone Temple Pilots' - Fast as i can

Been following Orlando in the NBA Playoffs on ESPN, and I've heard lots of Cinnamon, Fast As I Can, and Take A Load Off, especially during the East Finals -- in fact, it's the only music they've been using besides the theme. It's great to hear, and I like to pretend it's somehow cosmically helping the Magic come back in the series. GO MAGIC! (Yes, I live in Boston, but it's because I'm going to school here. I was born and raised in Orlando, and I'm a true blue Magic fan. I just have to keep my mouth shut up here because Boston sports fans are fucking nuts.)

Oh yeah, and they used Big Bang Baby once.

I couldn't find this being talked about.  I just saw this flick today (Luke Wilson, James Caan) and thought it was cool that "Down" was prominently featured.  Played throughout a scene as it was the music of choice in a strip club.  Wasn't expecting it as bits like that usually pop up here first, unless I just missed it.

Stellar movie too, check it out.

No clue.  There was a ton of music in the movie though.  There were twice as many songs as there are on that soundtrack list easy.  Some just won't make the cut I guess.

It seems like most of the case these days (I'd say within the last ten years especially) is that movie soundtracks contains songs that are NEVER in the actual movie, with the exception of the credits. Movie soundtracks used to be a HUGE deal back in the day and used to sell very well (Dirty Dancing comes to mind) because they contained music that prominently featured in the actual movie. These days though, it seems like they try to attach a major music artist to the movie, ask them to contribute a track or use a B-side from a previous album, make a music video with a few scenes from the movie, in order make some extra cash along the way.

Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Just heard Cinnamon while eating dinner at Red Robin.  I may have yet to hear it on a commercial radio station, but it was a solid soundtrack for a burger.

I heard yesterday "First Kiss on Mars" on a rock station in Puerto Rico. Pleasant surprise since I didn't know if this was going to be the new single and STP is hardly played on radio in PR. I think the DJ is a 'Pilots fan. Doesn't seem bad to me :)

I heard "First Kiss on Mars" in Chili's over the weekend.  Thought it was just wishful hearing at first.

I got big bang baby and ride the cliche into the song rotation at my job... Hear them on a daily basis now :)
