Obviously Scott was high as fuck when talking about no 4. Yeah its a "generic rock album", cuz they didn't experiment with different instruments or sounds, but the song writing blows away all rock albums of that time and stands with the greats.
Also saying MC5 and church on Tuesday are generic filler songs just because you feel that way about those songs, is just your opinion and holds no weight whatsoever in real life situations. I fucking love those songs, I fucking love that album. Sometimes Scott was a moron who did too many drugs and didn't know what the fuck he was talking about. Remember Bretts interview when Scott said he had no idea why STP fired him? Yeah, I'm sure they told him 5 or 4 times....
