Cage The Elephant's fourth album "Tell Me I'm Pretty" just came out.  I really like it!  Takes a few spins and it grew massively on me!  Their evolution as a band reminds me a lot of STP's

Mr. Asylum by Highly Suspect for sure. If you're an STP fan you should check them out if you haven't heard of them already. That band is awesome. A close second would be "Kill the Flaw" by Sevendust. Arguably their best record.

Drones by Muse was pretty good. Sol Invictus by Faith No More was good.

I wasn't super impressed with new rock this year. Highly Suspect and Ghost B.C have a couple singles worth mentioning. "Lydia", "Bloodfeather" and "Claudeland" by Highly Suspect are fantastic and "Cirice" by Ghost B.C. is incredible, but neither of their LP's could live up to those songs for me unfortunately.

1. Lovetap! by Smallpools.
2. The Desired Effect by Brandon Flowers.
3. Vega Intl. Night School by Neon Indian.
4. Currents by Tame Impala.
5. Saint Cecilia by Foo Fighters.
6. Strangers To Ourselves by Modest Mouse.
7. 2.0 by Big Data.
8. Blaster by Scott & The Wildabouts.
