I had no idea Dean Deleo had a Twitter account, but with the recent passing of Scott, I decided to snoop around and see what others close to him were saying on social media. What I found on Dean's site was interesting. Over the past few years I read multiple interviews in which Dean basically said he'd never want to work with Scott again. There was a noticeable softening of that stance in recent interviews where he started to praise Weiland's work in the past.
Then, what I saw on his Twitter account posts on 11/27 (prior to Scott's passing) raised an eyebrow. He retweeted an article about Scott and his performance at the Gramercy Theater.
https://twitter.com/paleodomI don't remember anyone pointing this out. Did something like this slip by without notice? I have to assume it meant warming relations between Dean and Scott. I think an STP reunion was imminent. Tragic that we will never them together again.
