Yeah this site is amazing, it's crazy that some of my STP memories actually involve this site directly. But coming on here now is just really hard.
i feel coming on here is  quite therapeutic
Yeah me too but I got tired of crying all day.

Great article indeed, a bit too early for me to play 12BB just yet but I'll break it out soon..
Yeah I don't know when I'll be able to listen to even one song.

Bill sent me a bunch of incredible graphics he created in tribute to Scott that I'll be sharing on his socials in the coming days, I just put the first one up. https://www.instagram.com/p/--yi9tHywr/

I really want to help keep Scott's memory alive as time goes on through his social media, in a way that Layne Staley has never gotten.

STP Shows: 5/1/08, 6/24/08, 12/31/08, 7/1/09, 5/25/10, 6/5/10, 10/29/10, 9/22/12, 5/30/13, 9/1/13

"It seems appropriate to share this since no one ever got to hear it, but back when we worked up a track for a soundtrack, we had an alternate which was never released. Scott Weiland with Big Blue Missile covering "Ashes to Ashes." Scott was a huge David Bowie fan. As were we all, right Julian Sakata, Frank Reina, Freedom Scott, Brad Cummings, Doug Grean? Everybody kicked ass on this track. Good times, good peeps."

And, I'm happy to have helped. His memory will remain alive through all formats for years to come. Music, online, our fan memories alone, we're all doing our part to keep pushing ahead. We've got this.

Yeah I don't know when I'll be able to listen to even one song.

I feel the same way. I gave Blaster a full listen yesterday. Found it kind of hard. Especially since it's his latest album and most recent stuff(besides AOA of course) I have all this Scott related music and suddenly it's hard to play it.
I can't think of anyone in rock music currently who uses their voice as a musical instrument as Scott did as far as the many different vocal sounds he could belt out. The exciting part of listening to a new record Scott was in was to see if we got to hear a new voice. In my opinion we got a little of that in AOA. Blaster hasn't even been out one full year yet right? Sad.
He was the base of all the music I listened to.
Our SW family will always have his music to listen to. But we will miss looking forward to hearing new stuff by him.
The only STP stuff I have heard sinced he passed is when they play him on the radio. Still stunned. RIP.

Thanks for sharing those.  Scott looks rough in the beach photo but it seems like he was happy with Jamie.

The photos are tragic to me, there is a sadness there, but at the same time, I still feel like we get to look into Scott's beautiful soul through his eyes.  They are bittersweet, and really capture his essence.

Anybody STILL claiming that STP sound like Seattle grunge bands just simply has zero credibility as a music journalist, even less as an Arts Editor for a newspaper.

That is the laziest, and objectively incorrect, load of bullshit I have read about the band since Scott passed.
