Tributes to Scott

I mean it seems to me that a band that were simultaneously derivative of Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones AND Aerosmith would actually have a sound that was uniquely their own.

Just like, for instance, Stone Temple Pilots.

Just sitting down to start my workday. A routine that usually includes Howard Stern. Very interested to hear his tribute, as he always had a soft spot for Scott.




Ok- quick update to my own post. Im sure it will be online soon, but Howard put on a very, very solid tribute today. You could tell that Howard really did care for Scott & really did appreciate his talent.

Thanks for sharing those.  Scott looks rough in the beach photo but it seems like he was happy with Jamie.

The photos are tragic to me, there is a sadness there, but at the same time, I still feel like we get to look into Scott's beautiful soul through his eyes.  They are bittersweet, and really capture his essence.

His eyes speak volumes, I feel. Thank you (and Jamie) for sharing these.
Right from the start, she gives us all a good feeling that she'll do her best to treat his legacy with the utmost respect.

This is probably one of the most heartfelt tributes I've read so far.  He had a good heart.

Man, Scott's scarves kept getting bigger and longer. It was almost at the point where he was going to be forced to gain weight simply to have more space to put scarves.
