Scott Weiland found Dead

I hate to bring up this thread, but figured it's the more appropriate place. Instead of making a new thread. I've been to Minnesota, in addition to having layovers at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport. While never hearing of Hennepin County until Scott dies. And then just now 4 months later finding out it's where Jeremy was born....

One thing that pisses me off is that nobody said that Jeremy died from a drug overdose until Scott did... And fuck EVERYONE that kept that from being public information. I searched many times, very deeply, trying to get proof that Jeremy OD'd. I feel like if people knew, maybe they would have given one last push to get help for Scott. Maybe people around Scott would have been more concerned and possibly said the right thing to help get him to rehab. But I guess with the soul-sucking pieces of shit he kept around him, well that probably would have never happened. This thread sucks.

Yeah someone posted the autopsy/toxicology certificate of death link on here, then I reported.  I don't believe any other sites did because it was a month or two after the fact and Jeremy wasn't that famous.

Oh for real? I must of been searching too early?  I found nothing on it or heard it mentioned anywhere. That being said with the shape Scott was in and CheSTP, I kind of avoided this place pretty good... Last time I saw Scott was March last year before the album dropped....it will always be one of, if not the saddest thing I've seen in my life.

Him performing in a club in Atlanta in front of maybe 50 people, looking so lifeless he could have been a zombie on the walking dead, actually those zombies have a lot more life than Scott did... At least he sounded okay vocally for most of it, which gave me hope he was getting his shit together... But that look in his eye was so empty... Ive seen homeless people completely broken look better than that..

I check these boards on occasion but rarely post and just wanted to add a quick thought....In the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal but how odd is it that Scott's own website doesn't acknowledge that he is gone? You can tell it hasn't been touched since before he died which in a time stamp sorta way is cool. It's also sad to see in the tour section the statement "No upcoming dates. Notify me when Scott Weiland comes to my area."

Like I said, no big deal but there isn't much Scott talk to be had unfortunately.

I'll check into this.  I never have handled his website stuff but I'll ask for access soon to fix this.

I don't know how feasible it is (given the legalities) but with so many different guest appearances and over the years, a comprehensive discography with rip-free protected-streaming would be a great treat.

I thought I would look it up since Prince died outside Minneapolis today. Apparently Prince basically died 16 miles away from where Scott died. Random but heavy. Some are now saying Prince was treated for some kind of drug overdose last week but that came from TMZ so yeh...
