Damn. No STP reunion, now, ever. No VR with Scott again no more great music. So many thoughts and memories going through my head. So much beautiful music that we are luckily left with. The Christmas album will be even more haunting this season. As, I began typing this my gf's kid, who I discovered the news with and played many of his stuff for before, came in playing Til The Dust Is Gone which was a fav.of hers and it was very powerful to hear. Having a vodka and egg nog and about to go listen to some more if his music and reminisce on one of the greatest singers of our generation. He was the underdog we all rooted for and was a true inspiration for all the times he conquered adversity and reinvented himself. Sadly, his time has come. R.I.P. gentle soul and rock giant. You will be greatly missed.
