Me too. He's a phenomenon, and every Bowie's record is unique. These songs from upcoming album are awesome. Can't wait for release

This might be a little leap in logic because I recall Weiland saying that they never met, but it was pretty obvious artistically, and spoken about publicly quite a bit that Weiland's big icon was David Bowie. I'm surprised that Bowie hasn't said anything about Weiland's death, or done some kind of cover or something like that.

Again, maybe it's a leap to think that he would, but it's something to talk about.

I too am surprised Scott never met Bowie. I remember that Trent Reznor credits Bowie with helping him get clean.

It's so funny. I used to think that when you're a celebrity and attend all these different events that you're just bound to come across a guy, or simply just "make it known" that you'd like to meet someone and it was that simple.
