With the Joss Stone/STP thing (which hasn't even really been circulated much) I thought I had to jump right now.

What's the Joss Stone thing have to do with anything? Weezer and ZZ Top didn't form a super group after they did a mash up on Kimmel, Brad Paisley didn't join Color me Bad. It's just a pun based mash up that they did for the show, why would it turn into anything or cause a breakup with Chester?

Dude, you're a journalist who has access to STP's management. Instead of throwing what is probably Scott Weiland just believing a random rumour he heard (which has happened so many times before) on your website, why not just reach out to STP for comment? If they refuse to comment, then it's possibly true and then you can run with it.

Because the story is that Weiland is claiming it, not that it's a fact.  Also if I send that to them they might have put out a press release before I could break the news.  I will contact them on Monday for a response.
