This video has blown up, my bosses even asked me about it at work

It's been trending on Facebook for the past couple days.  Makes me sad for humanity though.  Basing a snap judgment on one video without even bothering to look up his other shows.

I personally don't care if this is a one show thing per tour.  The fact it happens at all is just a public acknowledgment that Scott just isn't sober.  Obviously he acknowledges drinking.  Even if this was JUST drinking, it's still too much.  With his history?  With his personality?  He needs to clean up 100%, whether the substance is legal or not.

This isn't your typical rock n roll party anymore.  It isn't Motley Crue running off stage to snort coke and run back on and keep performing pretty solid.  This is a shell of a man in basically a comatose state.  This was just sad.  It's too much for me to see him like that even if it's just once a year, because all it makes me wonder is how often could he be like this when he's not on stage?  I'm inclined to think pretty often.... I hope I'm wrong.
Hold me closer.....closer.....let me go!

Well that sounds a LOT better, thankfully!
Whatever the cause of that bad night was let's hope we've seen the last of it, Scott's still got it live when he's on point and he's definitely still got it in terms of writing melodies and in the studio vocally as proven on this preview of the upcoming Art of Anarchy album, samples of every song and I think he sounds great on every single one -

Even if you're not a fan of the 'metal' sound there's no denying that Scott sounds great there and has come up with some excellent stuff for the music he was sent by the band. I wish THAT was the voice we were gonna get on the next STP album too :-(
Nothing matters again, I didn\'t think we\'d last that long

There's nothing really left to say about that video.  The excuses about sound monitors are absolutely amazing.  Unbelievable! I had written an essay about my points of views but then it got too long and just ludicrous.  All I can say is best wishes to Scott and his recovery and I hope mentally he is ok because dealing with the death of his guitarist for example must be ever so difficult! If he can allow himself to be positive it will be a start because the wildabouts that he has assembled are a decent group.

Was at a show tonight and somebody was introduced as former guitarist who has played with "notorious junkie" Scott Weiland. :/

In other news, Drew06 and his band kicked serious ass tonight!

What band it was? I can't think of any obscure guitarists connected to Scott other than Corey Hickok, Shawn Tubbs, Jeff Nolan, Zander Schloss, Peter DiStefano and Holly Reiger.
Can we really find
A lovely magic place we dream of?

Was wondering the same thing.... How crazy would it be if one of our forum members was opening a show for a former Magnifect Bastard? Total missed opportunity for an interview, that would be....

So after a quick check, it looks like EyesOfDisarray saw The Dealers (Drew06's band) and Jill's Cashbox.
I can't find any connections of Jill's Cashbox's members to Scott Weiland, though. Maybe it's one of the two unknown guys from Scott's Carson Daily appearance when he performed "The Man I Didn't Know".

It was Jeff Nolan. He was one of the judges.

I'm just mentioning it here because the announcer chose to label Scott that way instead of "former STP/VR frontman," and I wonder if it had to do with the news that's been spreading about this show.

Wow what a small world. I assume you must have been there to support Jills Cashbox? Should have came and said hello!

Honestly once that dumb lady said that I had a feeling it wasn't going to be our night. Funny how a "notorious junkie" who is pushing 50 still looks better than her 300lbs washed up boy band brother.

My wife and I were there to support The Dealers! I checked out your band after your post on here months ago. I told my wife, "Check these guys out, they're great!" She watched the video and turns out she went to school with Ryan.

You guys put on a great show! You have a great sound -- songs are well-crafted and catchy. Lots of energy in the show. I definitely think you guys should have won.

JCB seemed to be a good crowd-pleasing band, but I'm just not a fan of that pop-country style of music. (I'm being nice here.)

But you guys have a good thing going, so keep doing what you're doing! We'll try to come out and support you more.

Shameless plug: http://www.thedealersband.com (Check 'em out -- these guys are seriously good!)

That's awesome man, thanks so much for the support. Glad to see some people enjoy our music besides just family and friends ha.

Hope to meet you at a show sometime!
