That was a very interesting interview.  I had no idea they tried to get him in for The Voice.  Say what you want about Scott but he does have some integrity about his music even if he falls short sometimes.

Definitely with the integrity.... Scott could have been the new Steven Tyler.... Haha.

Good interview. Good that he turned down shitty reality TV.

But two Bowie tracks? Last time I checked 20th Century Boy was a T-Rex track...

He basically asks if there's any sense for Scott to release one more Bowie track, because there's already a Bowie cover on the previous album "Happy In Galoshes".

Speaking of Jean Genie, I downloaded the new recording off PledgeMusic last night and think it's not as solid as the one from the covers compilation.  Anyone else think he's trying to hard to sound exactly like Bowie on this new one?

Lots of little tidbits here.  I love how he talks about the Voice, how he'd advise young musicians, how he doesn't give fuck about facebook, twitter, ect., and how he thinks mini bar food is expensive.  Hilarious.  It's cool how he references his past too, Ten Inch Men, wearing leather pants in his 40s.  You think all the drugs f'd him up but he's still there.

It's odd that he says he's never met Bowie, I'm sure I've read in a past interview that he did where he says it was an honor to meet his idol David Bowie or something along those lines?
Nothing matters again, I didn\'t think we\'d last that long

This absolutely made my day. Hands down my favorite Weiland interview ever; his answers are all right on.   Its been 13 years since I've enjoyed reading an interview as much as I enjoyed reading this one. Thank you for posting this!
