What a truly sad, terrible thing for Jeremy's family, friends, and fans. March 31st was supposed to be a great day for the Wildabouts, not some goddamn nightmare.

His family and loved ones are in my thoughts....

I hope he went peacefully, and was happy knowing what a great album he made.... This whole thing has had me super bummed out for the past several hours. I'm going to be blasting Blaster all day tomorrow in his memory....

RIP Jeremy Brown

Unbelievable. This is terrible news.

Has there been any word about the cause of his death?

Whatever the cause, this is just awful and extremely sad.

Strenght for the band & family. It's been a very agonizing morning. Blaster all day for Jeremy's memory. I don't want to soundlike selfish asshole, but i guess London will be cancelled, i've been counting days so long. Anyways the tour is not the most important thing now. Blaster and loud!

Absolutely terrible. There's no words really, what an absolutely horrible thing to happen for him, his family and the band.

Still absolutely stunned. Saw the guy perform exactly 3 weeks ago tonight. I was up against the rail on Tommy's side between him and Scott, but Jeremy would glance over to me every now and then, I think because I was just about the only person in the house singing along to all the words from the new songs. He crushed it that night.

No sense in speculating cause of death, could literally be anything. Obviously with anything Scott-related the implication is something drug-related, but I hope whatever it was he went peacefully.

When STP had a cookout after filming the video for the Core single "Plush," Weiland made jerk chicken that was "spectacular," Dean raves.

Saw this thread last night before bed. It had just the original post. Quickly searched google, twitter, ect, and couldn't find anything. My thought "some fan decided to make up a story to help with a little extra exposure on album release day."

This morning, stunned. I've been playing this album straight through (ok, I sometimes skip 20th) for the last week on Pandora, and have really come to appreciate Jeremy's work on the album. Man, I hope this doesn't mess Scott up too bad...I always thought he went off the rails and VR feel apart after the loss of his brother.

Don't get me wrong. Jeremy is the one gone, so I don't want to make this about Scott, but I'd be lying if I said that this wasn't one of the first things that crossed my mind.
He's been through so much.

I agree with all of this. Terrible, tragic news and so sad to hear. Condolences to Jeremy's family and friends.

Hope Scott is able to handle this and heal - such a sad thing to happen on such an exciting day.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

'really come to appreciate Jeremy's work on the album'...I feel the same way. I think his guitar playing added such a killer sound that Scott needed to get this album rocking. Blaster is his swan song and what a way to go out. R.I.P Jeremy!
