Thanks for the heads up!  Hotel Rio is definitely a stand out along with Amethyst.  Can't wait to listen to this on a decent sound system instead of one headphone in at work.

Well... I think it's awesome!  Not sure where I'd rank it with everything else yet as I've only listened to it once.  Standout songs for me are: Circles, Parachutes, Beach Pop, Amethyst, and Hotel Rio.

First impression, I give it 7.9 out of 10.

I agree with Jim The Stim about the standout songs. Blue Eyes is cool too, kinda like Weiland meets The Cure.


Definitely gonna be a good album for playing hella loud while driving.


I wonder if James Iha played on any of these tunes, or if that shot of The Wildabouts and the former Pumpkins axeman was just a "look who dropped by" shot. I guess we probably would have heard about it if he was on the album....
