That's what was saying Blue.  We agree.  Any copy without "Crackerman" would require no royalties for Rob and Eric.

If The Wildabouts were to cover "Crackerman" in a recording and put it on "Blaster" then Robert and Eric would get writing royalties for each copy sold. Dean would get nothing.

This is my understanding of how it works.

All four original members are registered as writers on Crackerman (as well as all of STP's songs), so they will each get a cut any time the song is sold or performed in a medium that is subject to performance royalties, no matter who performs or recorded it.

You can go here and search "Crackerman" to see what I mean:

if there are some live tracks coming, hopefully one of them is the wildabouts version of dead and bloated.

Yes

I dug the mountain song much more than Jean genie, too. What about adding his covers tunes as a bonus?

You're right, Dean is listed here.  ASCAP is about as official as it gets. Good call!

Yep, looks that way. I just quickly looked up the credits on Wiki, so it should come as no surprise it was wrong.

it said "The megaphone of the late great Scott Weiland. It's an honor to be able to work on the last thing ever recorded here the day before the studio closes its doors for good. Such a shame this place is amazing." Posted 22 hours ago. Shows megaphone, candles, pencils and maracas.

yeah, pretty sad. Someone asked in the comments about Grean or Rocco, and the poster just said he thought Grean runs a studio in Pasadena now and that he was standing next to Rocco. Wish they could keep it open.

Doug Grean just shared a photo on Facebook that showed Lavish with a 'For Lease' sign above the entrance. What a bummer. Such great music was made in that building.
