Wow, this is the best Scott has sounded since VR. After his vocal performances on everything put out since (after) Libertad I'd begun to think he'd finally lost his vocal power, but this shows he definitely has NOT, he's just been hiding it. For what reason, I can't possibly imagine. Best Scott vocals since VR for sure, possibly since Purple, but I'll reserve that judgement until after I actually buy the album and listen through it a few times. Doesn't sound like anything truly groundbreaking, but sometimes all the ol' career needs is a shot in the arm of some down and dirty, meat and potatoes hard rock. Definitely will be picking this up.
