Not a bad article, but you need to dig deeper. There's bound to be more famous people who dig STP's tunes.

Sean William Scott is a fan too. Way back in the day I came across an American Pie site and the guy was in contact with the actors and the apparently he wanted some STP bootlegs.

I emailed him that I had some. He emailed back that he'd get them to Scott.

I dropped the ball.

Yeah but  already linked to his show in which scott appears in the RDJ one so it felt redundant.

I have that shirt, somewhere, and it has tour dates on the back. I *think* it was from their '97 tour.

Yep, pretty much.  I had it too, but I have long since worn it out.  It was my favorite shirt for a long time.  It actually disintegrated on me piece by piece during college.

Sarah Michelle Gellar did the Sour Girl video because she was a huge fan of the band. Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston attended an STP show back when they were together - apparently Brad likes them.

Does Chester Bennington count? Haha.

Juliette Lewis is a big fan.

When I saw Scott in Nashville last year, Jesse Camp was around during/after the show so he's a fan. Took me a second to recognize him but I actually did get a chance to speak to him and he was a super nice guy.

Won the "I want to be a MTV VJ" contest in the late 90s.
