They covered a bit of "We Will Rock You" by Queen the other night.  It was great.

Once again, you are welcome.  :)

But I just noticed that Rik has the unreleased outtakes on the "downloads" section of his site:

http://www.belowempty.com/index.php?p=downloads

I don't know if you already tried that, and THAT'S what you had problems with, or if you just were frustrated because you didn't see the "downloads" section -- that only appears after you hit your 50 posts.  :D  Anyway, hope that helps.

I think all the stuff scott did with VR was excellent and i asume you must've listened to that if not then you should. the army of anyone album had some great songs but i didn't find it as good as other things conected to STP. My personal favorites from VR are Slither, Spay, come on come in, dirty little thing, you got no right, she builds quick machines and gravedancer but its all about opinion hey? i've not really found anything i dont like to be honest! Roll on new material i say...

For Dr. Wheat,

The tracks that I had a hard time finding were of course live versions of STP songs.
And don't forget STP's original DEMO --- "Mighty Joe Young".  (which you can get
on BelowEmpty.com)

I did get my hands on STP's MTV Unplugged performance.  I found it online in MPEG format, ripped the audio track off the video using an audio editing program, and split
the tracks off one by one.  I had to do a lot of editing a clean-up on the audio, but
the 5 songs turned out great.  If you want em' drop me an email at sighdonia@hotmail.com.

Another song STP did that is kinda hard to find now, is a cover they did called
"Andy Warhol".  It was on one of the CD singles from "Purple".

Quick question, what program do you use to clean up your audio? I use Goldwave but any alternatives would be great.
Back for another one

That's from Unplugged.  It appears on the Vasoline single, as well as the Japanese import of Purple.  And, obviously, Unplugged.

For Dr. Wheat,

I use a program called COOL EDIT 2.0.  It's a digital recording and multi-tracking
audio editor.  I used this program for making commericals back when I was in radio.
It's fast, and has a lot of features.

I actually asked that question, but thanks all the same! I've never heard of that program, but I'll give it a try!
