The other Doors song Scott did with them "5 to 1" was damn good as well.

5 to 1 ... also a great cover, waiting for the sun, a greatly underrated album from the doors. one of the few bands, in my opinion , who has done and put out not one bad release. from their their debut, over strange days, waiting for the sun, soft parade, morrison hotel (masterpiece) to the great l.a woman... every record is brilliant.

have you read the john densmore bio, mrmojorisin'...? it paints the whole picture...

I'm late, but I wanted to put my 2 cents. The doors was a unique/original band. And you don't see that happening many times in music history. Regarding Morrison, well... there aren't many words that can describe what his voice could create and make you feel. He wasn't a very qualified singer, but still, he's one of the best of all time. Listening to The doors albums gets you high with no drugs, easily ;)
