All videos like these make me wish I was born 10 years earlier =(

I find myself saying this often, even 30 years earlier sometimes, haha. (I was born in '83)

If you were born 30 years earlier you'd be 58 years old, balding, not being able to 'use' the internet, and so probably would not be on this board cyber-socialising with the cool kids.  Nobody wants that..

you do realize if you were 25 in 1994 (which was the average age of people who got into STP in 1994) you'd be 42 today, able to use the internet, still have your hair and able to socialize with the "cool kids". Right?
If you don't like STP, then you're pretty much not American (from a MO message board)

If he was 42 today, and he had got into STP at 25 in 1994, he would probably have his hair and probably would be able to use the internet. He'd also have lived the early 90s better than I did.  But if he was 58 today, 41 when he got into STP in 1994, he would probably be balding (or maybe not, hair products what they are today), could probably use the internet if he tried, and could still hang out on this board (it's not like we don't like the older fans).  But it's not as funny.

Who got the exact average anyways for the age of STP fans in 94?? I was 14-15 that year in 94'. But I do remember this. I remember when I used to tape every single tv appearance STP made in the 90's on the good ol VHS tapes. It didn't look like Scott was 100% happy that night probably due to them having problems not performing that night etc. Who knows. But that was cool to look back on anyways!

I'm 42 which is younger than any of STP. I don't concern myself with age etc. I do note that there is an assumption aboout the internet being for younger people which I find quite funny - my parents have forgotten more about online life than many will ever know.

Aylin, you specifically used the word "Math". I had thought I was the only person in the UK who used that term properly. Congrats!

Hahaha you know I actually had to stop and think twice when writing Math, because even though I know it's the correct way I thought that the English people here would find it weird that I used the US term :)  Glad you appreciated it :)

By the way, I'd just like to point out that I was completely joking about the age thing, it was just a jesting response to Shapy saying he'd like to be 30 years older!  42 is young :) It's not like I'm still a teenager, I'm 33.  Also, my mother is 68 and is more computer literate than I am...!
