I do not know why, but I am getting a bit of country added to Still Remains last night. Just a touch, but I hear it in there.

I just watched it on youtube and ISL seemed to be normal to me, maybe I am wrong.

Maybe it was normal. I've only seen them live twice and I haven't watched any of the youtube videos. I guess I'm just so used to the studio version or the Live in Worcester version.

I could be completely wrong. Trippin always sounds a lot slower to me live.

Oh, yeah. Forgot about how slow Trippin' was.

I also forgot to mention during the second verse Silvergun, Dean used some sort of a wah wah effect that just sounded totally badass. Hopefully, it'll be up on youtube soon, cause I wanna check that out again.

And on another random note, Rob called Scott Dr. Weiland at one point which I found funny for whatever reason. Haha, There was just so much going on last night that I probably left out some other things, but they were rather unimportant and just random observations (Eric breaking his stick, Dr. Weiland, etc).

EDIT:
I saw that I already mentioned the Dr. Weiland comment in my first post! It's been a long couple of days and I'm so tired/hungover.

Just starting to go through pictures.  Don't have too many good ones.  Had already planned trip  to Alabama and then they announced all these dates around my trip!  Planned to go to this and Nashville and added in Birmingham because Saturday plans were cancelled due to storm, it is really devastating just the small swath of what I saw firsthand and experienced in north Alabama.

The weather was perfect Friday night.  Got in the festival watched Manchester Orchestra for a minute then Free Sol who were on the stage before Cake.  Free Sol did a cover of Killing In the Name Of that really impressed me.  Had a great view for Cake but was not entirely impressed with their show.  They were playing the same time as Cage The Elephant and Everclear.  A couple of friends watched Everclear and said they had sound problems.  After that ate some festival food...mmm!, and watched MGMT from a distance.  They had a great lighted background.  Then made our way to the stage where STP would be and got close on Dean's side.  Slightly Stoopid was nearing the end of their set and they covered Nirvana Territorial Pissings which I thought was extra cool because 1. I love the song and 2.  it is the first and only song I can play (poorly) on bass!  I thought STP had a great show and Robert came up to the mic and said something to the effect that it was a great looking crowd in Memphis and then he asked, "Do you concur Dr. Weiland?"  And Scott replied, "I do concur."  It was adorable!  /fangirl.  Scott kind of rambled expressing sympathy regarding the storms that took place Wednesday.  Robert did so the next night in Birmingham more succinctly.  Other than that Scott was clear and on I thought.  Tripping seems even slower than it ever has.  It's slower through the song now not just at the chorus.
I will post up the few pictures that are clearest soon.

Dammit I thought that "OUI PARIS" shirt would be in a hard rock by now. He wore that shirt almost every night overseas.

Yeah, maybe Rob understated just how much of a great time they all are having up on stage again.  ;)
