Hard To The Core - live album with songs from Core
« on: April 22, 2010, 09:12:50 PM »
Does anybody else own a copy of this live album that's called Hard to the Core? It says that it was released in Italy back in 1993 and it has live versions of songs from Core that were recorded during these concerts:

Daytona Beach, Spring Break Festival, March 20th, 1993
Summer '93 European Tour
Roseland, New York City, August 3rd, 1993

I went down to a local store that sells used cds/dvds and I found this there. I had never heard about a live album from STP. But if it was released in Italy, then that's probably why. So, I'm curious if anyone has this cd, too.

This is the track listing:

1. Plush
2. Sex Type Thing
3. Wicked Garden
4. Sin
5. Dead & Bloated
6. Crackerman
7. Where The River Goes
8. Creep
9. Brand New Song (it's a live version of Lounge Fly, it was new back in 93)
10. Naked Sunday
11. Piece of Pie
Cocaine. Alcohol. Lady-lay. Withdrawal.

What you have there is what's called a bootleg.

Yep. I remember the first time I discovered all these unofficial releases by my favorite artists!! Boy was I glad  ;D

I haven't heard the above mentioned CD but I have this one:

And if I had a chance I would buy this one:

Wonder why there hasn't been a company to release the whole MTV unplugged (without SIN of course) on bootleg CD.
Soundgarden - 1996-10-15
Pearl Jam - 2000-06-30
Fugazi - 2000-10-10
Stone Temple Pilots - 2001-08-21
The Mars Volta - 2003-03-24

It was recorded, but the original recording was damaged due to technical error. It never aired and if it exists somewhere, it does so as swiss cheese.
