That opening riff is so money.

+1. Heck yes that riff is so sick. One of the highlights of the album for me. I love turning that up and airdrumming with Eric's intro. I think it's one of the best statement opening riffs of all STP's songs. Sometimes good rock is so simple.

I do the exact same thing man. Air drum and all!
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Huckleberry Crumble would be the perfect next single!

According to theaudioperv.com is Take a load off, don't know where it comes from.

Furthermore, a new single, ”Take a Load Off” is set to impact at multi-format rock radio outlets everywhere later this month. A companion video is currently in production.

Edit: I've just seen this article is on the official site too. That's where it comes from :D

Not about HC but...
there's a Morning News show in NY on the WB11. Before they cut to commercial they show some live scene of NYC and play some song...(always putting on the bottom the name of the song and the artist) well last week I'm half asleep and I hear "Cinnamon". I'm thinking I'm dreaming. I look at the TV, sure enough...
This morning...SAME THING.

someone in the WB11 Morning show booth is a STP fan.
If you don't like STP, then you're pretty much not American (from a MO message board)

I really only wanted Fast as I Can or Huckleberry Crumble to be the next single....as I think both would show a cool side to STP that would excite listeners and perform well on the charts. I LOVE Take a Load Off, as it sounds like vintage purple STP. I just dont think thats what STP needs as a 2nd single. They need something to attract listeners and entice them into buying the new album. Maybe Take a Load Off would be a good 3rd single, to help solidify that STP is still good ol'e STP.

But I would LOVE for HC or FAIC to be the next single! And I'm really excited HC is getting radio play! :D
Favorite STP songs at the moment: Hazey Daze, Fast as I Can, I Got You, Pruno

I like Take a Load Off, but don't think it should be the next single. Songs like Huck C, Hick D and Fast as I Can are good rockers that are more appealing IMO. Sending out a rocker sets the stage for a ballad-single.. LIKE MAVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Could someone send me, or tell me how I can get a recording of this track in the key of E-flat. It's gonna sound more badass and I know this was discussed before.

'Huckleberry Crumble' reminds me of Aerosmith ('Same Old Song And Dance'). It has a very 70's Aerosmith vibe to it.

Exactly!

Though this is a revival, I REALLY listened to Huckleberry Crumble today and it wasnt half bad. It'll take some getting into but I can safely say I now dig two whole tracks on self titled, Huckleberry Crumble and Take A Load Off.
