After all those years and almost 40 millions albuns sold, STP hasn't received all the respect they really deserve, at least outside US. I can't say that O'Brien is guilty and I really think he isn't.

But if you want a different result, you should mix different ingredients. Perhaps D Was is the different ingredient. I confess that aside the excitation I'm afraid about the results as well.

I'm going to wait for the album to come out, I'm going to buy it as soon as it's available and I'm going to play the shit out of it in my car and I'll like it because I like the guys. Unless something drastically changes in the music because of the production I'm not going to worry about who produces it.

I've been telling everyone I know about this album.  I'm so excited for it to come out, but I recently had an enlightenment-no matter if the album sucks balls, I'm still going to love it because it's ST motherfuckin' P!!!  I wouldn't worry about how the album sounds in the production sense, mainly because it's Don Was-he's a beast, and also becuase it's STP-they are beasts that won't LET their album sound like anything but classic.

None of the guys in the band have ever released an album that sounds crappy, so I don't know why people would bring that up.

The crappiest things we've heard are Chateau Mars and Follow Me, and that shouldn't come as a surprise to anybody that they sound like balls being cheese gratered.

All 5 STP albums sound great.
All 2 VR albums sound great.
All 2 SW records sound great.
Talk Show sounds great.
Army Of Anyone sounds great.

I trust these guys. Hopefully people's taste improves so everybody buys the album when it comes out. Since the new Alice In Chains record did as well as it's been doing, I don't see any reason why STP's album will tank.

I'm so excited for this album. So excited. Can't wait.

I think twitter is kinda fun and it is nice to know that, Scott is indeed in the studio working on album stuff, but wouldn't it be the easiest thing in the world to just assume that's where he is/what he's doing? I mean, the album is coming out in the next couple months and they cancelled tour dates that still wouldn't have been played yet to finish the album so one would infer that as long as it's not Christmas or whatever they're all probably doing something some of the time album related.

I just find twitter updates and things of that nature to be a bit bland. "I'm in the studio"  Yea, you better be, you got an album to do buddy lol
