One side of me says I'm grateful Scott is working and making music.  If he releases it, I'll buy it and listen to it.  Although, I got to say I'm certainly not counting the days.  The songs he picked are interesting at best,  but I was pretty bored w/ his song selection.

Would've been cooler to work w/ some different artists w/ some songs.  Songs that he's covering.  Maybe Bowie, the guys fr Depeche Mode, Dave Gahan.  Maybe get Santana to write him a tune.  How about Noveselic fr Nirvana.  Guys he wants to pay tribute to.  Would've been kick ass.

Scott seems to be on the right track w/ stuff, but doesn't always hit the mark for me.  The covers idea is one of them.

How nice would be a cover of "The Crystal Ship" from The Doors?

I'll quote, join us!
I know we've heard Scott doing The doors plenty of times but I really wanted him to drop some new cover of them in this CD. The Crystal Ship...

Hell yeah! "The Crystal Ship" is another one of those Doors songs that Scott could totally do great with.

That one is tailor-made to his vocal style and swankiness! I hope Doug Grean is reading and suggests adding that tune!

Its odd that he has already covered alot of these songs... Is he planning to 're-cover' them? Though, in truth, recover would be a good title.  I really like his version of Can't You Hear Me Knocking  (The Rolling Stones) on Santana's album.

100 bucks says he isnt recovering them just putting the ones already made on one album with the others

There are a number of Doors tune Scott would sound great singing, Crystal Ship is certainly up there.
