STP performed a truncated version of the same setlist they've stuck with for the 2008 tour, leaving out Coma, Too Cool Queenie, Silvergun Superman and All in the Suit That You Wear. Official setlist is as follows:
* Big Empty
* Wicked Garden
* Big Bang Baby
* Vasoline
* Lady Picture Show
* Loungefly
* Crackerman
* Sour Girl
* Creep
* Plush
* Interstate Love Song
* Down
* Sin
* Sex Type Thing
* Trippin' on a Hole in my Paper Heart
* Dead & Bloated (Encore)
There were various funky improvisational blues type jams, and even sort of a psychedelic one at the end of Creep, thrown in for good measure.
I must say, it was a very solid performance. Scott's vocals were powerful and clear, and he rarely even botched lyrics (only a little bit in the beginning of Big Empty). He didn't seem messed up, and as usual, the rest of the band was ramped up to full throttle.
No deviations in the setlist, but then, I'm pretty sure we've all figured out by now that they are just not doing that on this tour. But for what this 2008 Tour has been about, this was an efficient, representative showcasing.
Overall, it all sounded good, but for some reason Vasoline and Lady Picture Show were really on tonight, even more than usual. Not surprisingly, Sin was again bad ass. They should never leave it out from here on. A bunch of the fans started clamoring to get closer to the stage when Sin began, and it received a warm reception.
Good rock concert. This is about as tight as the 2008 show is going to get.
