I saw this the other day. While it was cool to see a vocal coach talk about Scott I really think he could have done a way more interesting video. Either by picking a different song, or hat I really would have liked to see is him showcase examples of a few different styles and voices that Scott sang in. The guy definitely has some knowledge and I think it would have been better applied if he would have compared say Sex Type Thing, vs. Interstate Love Song, Vs. Trippin On A Hole In A Paper Heart, vs. Atlanta, vs Coma. I dunno, just an example. The guy's voice changed so much over the years and really his style could shift a bit even within an individual album. So much can be said about his singing and I just think it would have been more interesting to look at it that way as opposed to putting on Plush and making a few Eddie Vedder comparisons.

I agree with Nick. Scott was a vocal chameleon.

And I'll add that the Live in Chicago video isn't exactly prime-time Scott Weiland - and it's as far as you can get in time from the original Plush vocal sound - so an earlier performance would have been a better choice - even like one of those House of Blues shows from '99 or 2000.
