STP wax seal logo ripoff?

I found an ad for Colonial Williamsburg, Va. in a magazine with a logo that looks strikingly similar to STP's:




Is that some sort of template logo they both bought?  Someone copyright infringing on the other?

Either that or this is simply because the archetype representing wax seals are all pretty similar because that's how you did a wax seal....
