While we're on the leftover 90's kick, I'd sooner welcome Vinnie Dombroski from Sponge or Royston Langdon of Spacehog over Brett or Ed.

There was a radio interview recently in which the host dove into some questions with regard to Tiny Music and other sessions and Brendan's name came up. I wish he would have followed up with the question of why they've decided to not work with him anymore. I mean, we all know why. But it'd be interesting to hear it from them.

The glory era of my beloved Sponge. They played a festival (more like a fair) a few years back and I was front row and got to meet all the guys after the show. While plenty of people didn't know who they were or just left after, I hung out with the guys and talked and talked. A great memory of mine. Vinnie especially looked great and is such an awesome dude.
Brett sounds terrible live, due to drugs and other related things, I'll give him this much, he did sober up and reclaim his vocal position in Fuel, to me he should carry that on.
