Scott Weiland live album possibility

informed me over Instagram that they are recording every show so I am assuming their could be a live album in the future...

If they are recording all the shows, it's safe to assume that they will use the best takes from each one, so Scott will sound good on it. They will probably take each song from a different show, using the best sounding ones.

They'll probably actually take the best bits of each performance of each song, and cut them together to make a composite of all the best parts. If they have a dodgy chorus in one but a perfect verse, and a dodgy verse in another but a great chorus they'll just smoosh them into one performance.

Live albums are not really live albums.

I imagine they'll just use overdubs instead of going to all that effort. But yeah, I imagine it'll be the best performances of each song that are then overdubbed to hell... Just like most live album these days.
Grab the hate and drown it out...

too bad, they should just leave the real vocals in there. listen to the new live van halen album. DLR sounds awful on it, but at least they aren't trying to pretend to be something they're not.
