Sorry, if this thread is redundant.
The new EP is now available for pre-order on iTunes. Just wondering, does anyone know, will the physical CD be available at stores?
I'd really prefer a physical copy over the digital one.

Understandable, as would I, but the vast majority of stores do not carry EP's, as they aren't full length album copies. You'll run into some stores like CD warehouse that specialize in music and CD's that will have them, otherwise it can all vary on your location, every once in a while a stray Target or Best Buy would have something along those lines, but even then it's a weird find if they do. Simply to save yourself the possible wasted trip and the possible frustration, I'd buy a hard copy off Amazon. If you're desperate to do it via store,  some stores will special order it for you, though it may run you extra.

There's a great record store near where I live in Baltimore that I'm sure will have it and I plan on going the day it comes out to pick it up 


It's actually a pretty sick place to go to if you're ever in Baltimore...its called The Sound Garden actually lol. Rolling Stone ranked it as one of the best record stores in the country a couple years ago

There will be a physical copy available - standard thin cardboard case that opens up.  Info on the let inset, disc on the right.  A Best Buy should have it, there just won't be a ton of copies to purchase.

I'll be buying the physical CD as well. Have a (still) independent store near me that will carry it. But, if I may stray from the subject of the EP for a moment.  I hear record stores gripe about people not buying Cd's & downloading instead. Well, if YOU CARRY THE DAMN CD, people will buy it! In particular, Best Buy. Years ago, the store near me had about 15 rows of CD's. Now, they are down to TWO!!! Everytime I go there to buy a CD they usually don't have it! Except if it's a release where it has a "Best Buy Exclusive" bonus track such as Black Sabbath's "13" CD. I've stopped going to Best Buy & now order ALL my CD's from Amazon. The independent store near me has been having a LOT of problems getting certain titles in. I have to "special order" & it takes 3 weeks to get it in. I want the CD the day its released (if I really like that artist). I don't want to wait an additional 3 weeks.  So to all those record stores bitching about people not buying CD's. You have to make it AVAILABLE in order for people to buy it.
