Everything leaks early now, it's impossible to get it into stores without it leaking at least 4 days prior to release. As with all my favourite artists though, I will be waiting to pick it up at the record store.

I have not heard any talk of whether there's going to be vinyl or not yet.

Yeah, Amazon UK now has it with the 7th as the release date:

Just as well - I changed my pre-order to this one, they are charging more than double for the import!

Pretty cool huh?! I don't know, probably just that it's listed as a single. Doesn't hurt though.

I've ordered it with first class delivery, so there's every chance it will arrive on the 5th as they often dispatch on Friday to be sure. If it arrives on Tuesday they have to refund your postage.

It's only 5 tracks, so they are counting it as a CD single.

I'm not sure whether it qualifies for the singles or album chart here, but since it is unlikely to sell enough to chart on the official albums or singles chart I suppose it doesn't matter. S/T only got to number 80 or something here. That's probably about 3000 copies or something.

It's an EP, so it often times gets grouped as a single, especially on online retailers (as per Itunes and Amazon). Performance wise, if and when it performs, it will act as an album. Blink-182's Dogs Eating Dogs is a perfect example of how High Rise will work, sales/marketing wise, as they are for all intents and purposes, in the same format, even down to the number of tracks.
