Is the lack of interest in Scott Weiland really because of his antics? I know you didn't suggest that, but many people say it all the time. Yes, he shows up late and drunk, however, I think the lack of interest has more to do with the seven year hiatus and the lack of any hit songs on 12BB and HIG. When one thinks about it, the fact that she can still sell anywhere from 500-2000 seats a night is quite amazing. I mean STP has not been relevant to the general public for over ten years. In addition, his solo work never attracted many people. Essentially I think the only reason he can still draw a crowd is because of Core and Purple. Even if he kept clean I don't see him being much more relevant than he currently is. Sure, STP would still be together but even with a sober Scott Weiland I don't see them filling more than theaters at this stage in their career.
