Does anyone know the tuning Junior Brown's lap steel is in?
Or possibly what's he's playing;D I'm trying to figure it out with limited success

Hmmmm, it's a toss up between open D (DADF#AD) or open E (EBEG#BE).  And if not those, try the standard open G (DGDGBD)  Hope this helps!

He usually plays that double neck which is half 6-string electric guitar and half 8 string steel guitar.

He tunes his 8-string steel to open C13
