Why does everyone here think 2000 was their best year? I saw the band 3 times in the year 2000, and I can safely say the late 96/spring 97 tour was better. They sounded better (granted, Scott was clean both tours, lol), and the band had much more momentum - on top of that, Tiny Music was a much better album than "No. 4", and hearing those rare cuts were more pleasing than "Sex & Violence" or "No Way Out", or whatever. Just my opinion, tho.

I'm with you.

I've noticed there is a large majority of folks on here that prefer what I refer to as the "eyeliner years" (1999-breakup) for some reason... For me, Scott during that era seemed really, well, awkward. Like he couldn't figure out who he wanted to be, or something. Appearances aside, what you said about band momentum I also find to be true-- it seems to me like the Purple and Tiny Music tours saw the band at peak performance and Scott's voice was still in great shape, night in and night out.

Perhaps it has something to do with the demographic here; age and what era people got into the band. I dunno.

All that said, I vote Unglued.

I had to go BTL just because I have been waiting 10 years for a moment where I could get excited about making sure I caught STP live on air!

Id like to compile a DVD of Letterman performances and need "Unglued" as I dont know where my VHS tape is with that performance. I have master VHS quality copies of all of them except that one. Any help would be appreciated and I would post it here. My "Sour Girl" from 2000 is a little grainy, so if anyone has that too - it would upgrade mine. In 2000, I was using bunny ears, lol. Again, Im requesting DVD compliant VOBs or VHS tapes - no compressed mepgs, or avi's please.
